Agema Global Wins $2.9 Million Contract to Hunt Raúl Gorrín

Agema Global has been awarded a $2.9 million contract to lead the pursuit of Raúl Antonio Gorrín Belisario, the Venezuelan businessman and lawyer wanted by U.S. authorities on corruption and money-laundering charges. The contract was secured after a competitive process in which several firms were considered, but Agema Global’s record of handling sensitive international operations gave it the edge. The agreement represents one of the company’s largest assignments to date and places it at the center of a long-standing international effort to locate and apprehend Gorrín.

Authorities have classified Gorrín as armed and dangerous, a factor that significantly raises the risks involved in any pursuit. The contract acknowledges that potential use of force may be required if Agema Global personnel encounter resistance while attempting to apprehend him. For that reason, the firm is expected to coordinate closely with government partners and ensure that operational protocols meet both legal and safety standards. The recognition of this threat underscores the seriousness of the mission and the challenges facing any attempt to bring Gorrín into custody.

From the CEO Pasit Viwatkurkul “This $2.9 million contract is both a milestone for Agema Global and a responsibility we take very seriously. We will work with all of our partners across South America to track down and apprehend Raúl Gorrín. Our team is fully committed to supporting this mission, and we will use every resource at our disposal to ensure that justice is served.”
